Default Text lists the text inputs and textareas detected in selected and custom reports. Set the wording that should be filled in by default, then choose a colour beside a field title to control its report status.
A red, amber, or black rule triggers when the entered report text differs from that field's saved default text. If several rules trigger, red takes priority over amber, then black. The amber indicator is shown only when the report has at least one amber rule.
The template choice shows the mode set by that report's $footerMode. If the template does not set a mode, Repeat is the default. Choose Use report template setting to keep following the template. Choose Repeat on every page or Last page only to override the template when the selected mode differs from its setting. If the template determines its mode dynamically, the screen identifies that the mode is determined by the template; choosing Repeat or Tail in that case saves an override.
Select Save Defaults to save the default wording, field colours, and Signature footer mode for that report. Fields left green do not create rules. If a report has no coloured rules, its result selection continues to control its status.
